Arthur F. Leyden IIIMr. Leyden is a Partner with the firm. He is A/V rated by Martindale-Hubbell.  He is Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney who specializes in insurance defense litigation including general negligence, automobile, personal injury, and construction.

In 2006, Mr. Leyden was presented the Professionalism Award and in 2014, the Achievement Award by the Ocean County Bar Association.  He served as the Ocean County representative to the Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee (JPAC) (2014-2020). He is Past-President of the New Jersey Defense Association (2006-2007), as well as Past-Chairman of the Board (2007-2008). He is Past-President of the Ocean County Bar Association (2011-2012). He served as Co-Chair of the Ocean County Bar Association Civil Practice Committee  (1996-2021) and Co-Chair of the Arbitration Committee (2006-2021). He completed an appointment to the District IIIA Ethics Committee (2000-2003). He served as the New Jersey Defense Association State Representative to the Defense Research Institute from 2000-2003.

He has served as an instructor for Continuing Legal Education courses including the Arbitrator training course and the NJDA Trial College. Mr. Leyden was also an Adjunct Professor at Ocean County College teaching Business and Health Care Law.

Mr. Leyden is a cum laude graduate of Seton Hall University with a B.A. degree in Sociology. He also possesses a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Rutgers University. He worked as a Nurse Clinician and Certified Emergency Nurse at the State Trauma Center located at University Hospital in Newark. He instructed paramedics as a preceptor. He was a Critical Care Nurse in the open-heart surgery unit of the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

Upon graduation from Seton Hall School of Law, Mr. Leyden served as judicial clerk to the Honorable Jacques H. Gascoyne, who was designated Presiding Judge of the Civil Part Law Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey in Morris County.

He is a member of the Ocean County, New Jersey and American Bar Associations and the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey. He is a member of the New Jersey Defense Association, the Defense Research Institute, as well as The American Association of Nurse Attorneys.
